UGL Regional Linx has been successfully awarded the contract to Operate and Maintain the NSW Country Regional Network (CRN), commencing in January 2022.

The CRN links broad areas of regional NSW to interstate and metropolitan rail systems and in addition supports, customers transporting coal, grain, cotton, minerals and containerised freight to domestic and export markets.

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Manager to join the team based in Orange, NSW at our new HQ for an immediate start.

About the role..

The People and Culture Manager is responsible for delivering the P&C strategy in accordance with the contractual requirements for the CRN with the CEO UGL Regional Linx which supports the business strategy and enables a high-performance culture.

This position is responsible for ensuring the P&C team delivers activities for UGL Regional Linx which includes managing and providing strategic guidance and advice, developing P&C policies, procedures & systems and incorporates operational services, recruitment, performance and talent management, reward and organisational culture.

About you..

We are seeking experienced professionals that are innovative, committed and looking to be challenged. To be successful you will require & ideally have:

Tertiary HRM Qualifications or Demonstrated experience in a Senior HR generalist role, with in depth exposure to IR, ER, and training

Project management experience or experience gained in the rail, automotive, military, Defence, avionics or any other safety critical environment.

Extensive experience in the resolution of complex employee relation issues;

An ability to interpret legislation, regulations, Awards, Industrial Agreements together with policy and procedure and providing high level HR advice across a unionised workforce is critical

Ability to coach leaders in achieving high performance teams

Solid negotiation, influence and change management skills

Strong commercial acumen

Ability to drive change across the business

A focus on delivering outcomes to internal and external customers, teamwork and accountability
