We are looking for analytical sales people who are organised, structured and able to communicate well. Preparation is the key in this role as every day there will be lots to do. You’ll have great drive and ambition and experience of using your own initiative.
The Cash Office Responsible is in charge of all our money handling – from money transports and providing change for the registers, to daily account reconciliation and payroll verification’s. An important part of your role is to also inform, train and update employees on cash procedures and store routines, while occasionally assisting your colleagues on the store floor.
In this role you will be responsible for:
In charge of account reconciliation which includes daily verification and correction of all monetary accounts.
Researches all cash differences and follow up with Management on loss prevention.
Responsible for ensuring the store is compliant with all audit points.
Responsible for ensuring that invoices are dealt with in a correct way.
Completes all opening and closing procedures including banking, corrections and payroll.
Makes sure that all store transfers and price changes are being done in the right way.
Assists in daily operations of the store such as processing delivery, working on the fitting room and serving customers at the tills.
Acts as a Role model at all times.
Responsible for the running of the cash office with the store manager’s overall supervision.
Orders office supplies and cash point supplies.
Makes sure that stockroom, back areas and offices are organised, neat and clean.
Communicates all new/adapted store routine and policy changes to other members of Management and staff.
Trains employees on all cash point procedures and store routines.
Ensures managers are working with the H&M office manual.
Responsible for that our policies and procedures are followed at the cash register, including providing excellent customer service.
Makes sure that the cash desks are organised with the right material, neat and clean.

Prior experience in a routine/cash office position desired
Good accounting/analytical skills
Basic computer skills desired
Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work weekends, early mornings and late nights if required
