FRONT OFFICE – OVERNIGHT HOST Job in Palm Beach QLD at Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort, Spa and Casino –
Front Office – Overnight Host is responsible for checking guests in and out of the hotel. They communicate hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives the opportunity for casual conversation and genuine connection with our guests. It has a direct impact on creating a memorable guest experience. Other duties include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires.
General Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Greeting and thanking guests in a sincere, friendly manner.
Checking guests in on arrival and out on departure.
Assigning rooms to guests and informing them of any specials offered by the hotel.
Anticipating and addressing guests’ needs, and resolving their problems and complaints.
Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquires.
Manage Guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and completely
Maintain the professional appearance of the Front Desk with a focus on hospitality and Guest service.
A true desire to care about the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Previous Front Office experience required in the Hotel Sector
Possess strong communication and relationship skills
Strong business awareness and demonstration of sales capabilities
Ability to multitask
Strong computer skills
Calm, organized work ethic with the ability to challenging situations and solve problems
A passion for delivering exceptional levels of Guest service
Must have a flexible schedule to work mornings/afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
