The Front of House and Administration Officer is passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for our employees, customers, partners and visitors by ensuring the smooth day to day running of the company reception and facilities including the provision of outstanding administrative support through timely and responsive daily operational activities, administration tasks and service delivery. This role is focused on taking care of people and helping others, by delivering exceptional customer service and providing solutions to help us build an even better workplace.

Hours will be 8:30am until 5:00pm Monday to Friday with a 60 minute lunch break. Flexibility will be required from time to time to cater for early meetings/business activities which may require a 7.45am or 8.15am start.


  • Welcome all visitors and employees in alignment with the Mortgage House values and Mortgage House image
  • Coordinate professional, well-organised and productive meetings
  • Manage all corporate facilities ensuring they are presented immaculately at all times
  • Manage corporate employee communications such as the daily and departmental rosters, visitors and events such as Town Hall, Friday Morning Madness
  • Support the General Manager in the coordination of monthly Branch Meeting
  • Ensure employee tools and provisions are readily available including the ordering of stationary and kitchen supplies
  • Order and prepare catering
  • Provide the first point of contact for building management, security, stakeholders, suppliers and contractors
  • In collaboration with the Manager, People Culture and Engagement assist in the coordination and completion of Health and Safety activities
  • Support your colleagues by taking call overflows, data entry and administration

  • Experience in a customer service or support role (this may be in a part-time or casual capacity)
  • Understanding of administration tasks and processes
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks independently to full completion and within an agreed time frame
  • Competent and accurate keyboard skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and desire to build on these skills
  • Ability to work to a budget whilst delivering great outcomes/services in a cost effective way
  • Previous experience in reception and / or administration in a corporate environment would be advantageous
  • Experience in data entry and/or confidence in using customer management, accounting or retail systems would be advantageous
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of Workplace Health & Safety would be advantageous
  • Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration would be advantageous
