About the Role
We are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join our team. This role is primarily responsible for providing sustainable data products and data-related services to support the achievement of business outcomes.
Key accountabilities will include:
Design, build and test data products based on feeds from multiple systems
Undertake data profiling and source system analysis, as well as presenting clear insights to stakeholders
Deliver data solutions in accordance with agreed organisational standards that ensure services are resilient, scalable and future-proof
Collaborate with others to support the development of robust and automated products, that are aligned to best practice methodologies and industry recognised practices and standards
Ensures risks associated with deployment are adequately understood and documented
To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar role working in a large and complex commercial environment, along with the following skills:
Development experience using Microsoft SQL Server toolset
ETL Development experience in any of the prominent ETL applications such as SSIS, Alteryx, Talend etc.
Knowledge of enterprise CRM Applications such as Salesforce/Siebel
Experience or very good understanding of Data Modelling/System Design of enterprise Data Warehouse
Development experience in T-SQL and MS SQL Server
Experience with REST APIs and JSON
Cloud experience, AWS preferred
Exposure to data governance, master data management, security
Development experience in Tableau/Domo
Experience with Google Analytics
Excellent attitude and disposition towards Customer Service
Ability to document processes and procedures with close attention to detail
Organised and quick learner
Ability to collaboratively work within the team, department and organisation
SNSW Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at $90,933 base plus superannuation and annual leave loading.
