Position Summary
Banyule is seeking a Community Partnership Coordinator to join our organisation to lead key strategic outcomes for the community as identified in the Banyule City Council Plan and the Community Vision.
As the Community Partnership Coordinator you will bring energy, talent, vision and a high level of understanding of community development practice, principles, knowledge, skills, ethics and leadership and manage the community partnership team.You will share our values of respect, integrity, responsibility, initiative and inclusion, and have a passion for helping a community of over 130,000 residents to live happier, healthier and more connected lives, all while growing your skills and advancing your career. As the Coordinator your role will:
Provide support, leadership and supervision of the 3081 Hub Coordinator, 3081 Administration Officer and Community Partnerships Officer
Deliver on community outcomes, especially across 3081
Lead partnership and relationships with Neighbourhood Houses
Provide strategic and operational advice to Council on issues impacting on the community.
Develop and implement a sustainable model of governance across all community hubs, including Bellfield, Shop 48 The Harmony Centre and any future community/service facilities within 3081 precincts
You will have:
Tertiary qualifications and or extensive experience working within a community development environment
Experience in management of staff, including identifying performance indicators, individual and service work plans, relevant staff training and development programs
Demonstrated commitment to diversity, inclusion and social justice
Ability to manage complex and competing priorities within strict timelines
Outstanding relationship skills and proven record of developing partnerships with other agencies for successful outcomes
Experience in advocacy, policy and funding submissions

Salary range $111,727.85 to $124,871.11 plus 10% super
Permanent full-time – 38 hours per week plus monthly Rostered day off
